Unit 1, Session 1
Jesus Healed the Official’s Son
John 4:46-54
Jesus did miracles to help people believe that He is the Son of God. Jesus has power over everything, and anyone who believes in Him will live with Him forever.
Unit 1, Session 2: Jesus Calmed the Storm
Jesus is the only one who has power to calm storms, both physical and spiritual. Just like the disciples had a hard time trusting Jesus to calm their storm, we sometimes struggle to trust Jesus to calm our difficulties, too. Jesus was with the disciples and He is always right there with us.
Unit 1, Session 3: Jesus Healed a Man Born Blind
Jesus is the Great Healer, and He has power over sickness. Sometimes, Jesus chooses to take away sickness so that people might believe in Him.
Unit 1, Session 4: Jesus Walked on Water
Jesus proved that He can be trusted. His miracles—like walking on water—teaching, death, and resurrection showed that He is who He says He is. When we look to Him, He can save us from our sin.
Unit 1, Session 5: Breakfast with Jesus
Jesus provided for the disciples in their time of need by helping them fish. He provides for our needs, too. Jesus knows exactly what we need, and He is always faithful to make sure we have those things.
Unit 2, Session 1: Noah
God sent a flood to punish the world for sin, but God rescued Noah and his family. Later, there was an even greater rescue! Jesus came to save people from sin. If we trust in Jesus, He saves us from the punishment for our sin.
Unit 2, Session 2: Abraham and Sarah
God told Abraham to leave his home and go to another land. God promised to bless all the people in the world through Abraham. God sent Jesus from His home in heaven to come to earth as part of Abraham’s family. Jesus blesses all the people on earth because He saves people from their sins.
Unit 2, Session 3: Moses and the Israelites
The story of Job reminds us of Jesus. Jesus never sinned, but He suffered to take the punishment for our sin. Jesus comforts us when we suffer, and we can trust Him.
Unit 2, Session 4: King David
God promised David that every king of Israel would come from David’s family. God kept His promise. God sent His Son, Jesus, to be part of David’s family. Jesus is our King. Jesus is alive, and He will be King over God’s people forever.
Unit 3, Session 1: God Told Jeremiah What to Write
The Bible teaches us about God and Jesus. It helps us know the right things to do. We do wrong things a lot, but when we know and love Jesus, He helps us say no to sin. Jesus died to rescue us from sin.
Unit 3, Session 2: Ezekiel Offered Hope
God showed Ezekiel a valley. It was full of dead bones. When we disobey God, we are like those dead bones. But God gave us Jesus to take away our sin. When we turn from sin and trust Jesus, He gives us life so we can be with God forever.
Unit 3, Session 3: Daniel Chose to Obey
God’s rules tell us what it looks like to be perfect. Everyone has sinned. Nobody is perfect except for Jesus. Jesus loves everyone perfectly. He loves people so much that He died to take away our sin.
Unit 3, Session 4: Prophets Told Abut Jesus
Many of God’s prophets talked about Jesus before He was born. Everything they said about Jesus came true. Before God created the world, He planned to send Jesus. Jesus came to do God’s plan, to rescue people from sin.
