I love the Daily Discipleship Guide. It offers me a way to both discuss the Bible study with my group and continue to delve into the passage throughout the week. Bible Studies for Life has offered the Daily Discipleship Guide for the past five years, but as we enter the sixth year, we are making a major enhancement to it.
The Daily Discipleship Guide now has its own Leader Guide.
Group leader resources have always been available and easily accessible in the back of the book used by the group members. But with that easy access came a few limitations. By providing a separate Leader Guide, we overcome those limitations and offer the group leader/facilitator with more resources for a richer group experience.
More commentary. The Leader Guide now has more than double the amount of commentary to assist the leader in understanding the Bible passage.- More robust group plans. We’ve also added content to the group plans in an easier-to-follow format. This new design also allows room for your own notes.
- QR codes. Some of the sessions include a QR code that will take you to bonus content and information in the form of short video and audio files.
- Leadership articles. Facilitating a group involves more than just following a group plan. We provide leadership articles that address a variety of topics: (1) tips on leading a group; (2) working with and understanding this generation of young adults; (3) tips on reaching and ministering to those in your group; and (4) bonus biblical background information.
Is this going to cost more?
For those who’ve been using the Daily Discipleship Guide, the additional purchase of a Leader Guide sounds like it’s going to cost you more. Good news! For most groups, the cost will be lower.
The Daily Discipleship Guide itself is getting more content too—more robust daily readings!—but it will cost less. By removing the leader content, the Daily Discipleship Guide‘s price is dropping from $4.65 to 3.99.
Of course, you still need to purchase a Leader Guide for $8.99. But for a group of twelve, your overall cost is only going up $1.00. If you have a group of 15 or more, your cost will actually drop!
