Sunday
Today’s Bible story teaches that disobedience has consequences. Ten of twelve men convinced the Israelites they could not take the land that God promised them. God’s consequences were severe—the people wandered for 40 years before God allowed the next generation to enter the land.

The Weekly Verse reminds us of our Life Point for the week: Disobedience to God has consequences. A verse for each day that relates to the Life Point can be found on the Daily Bible Readings on the One Conversation page..
Wednesday
Check out “Joshua and Caleb” in the Bible Studies for Life section of the Lifeway: Kids app. This FREE app allows you to go further into the lesson through interactive activities just with the swipe of a screen.
Friday
As you work on learning the Unit Verse for this month, discuss as a family what it means to obey. Give examples of how they obey their parents, how they obey their teachers, and how they can obey God.
I miss the Facebook cover photo and the picture graphics with the verses. We posted them on our Children’s Facebook page regularly. I hope they will be back.

The marketing team is making some changes to social media starting with Fall 2020.
Unfortunately, we are no longer providing social media covers like was provided in the past. We are moving towards using the social media slides specific to each session every week instead. I hope that you find these slides for each session beneficial for your ministry.

Unfortunately, we are no longer providing the social media covers as we have made some changes starting with Fall 2020. We are providing 4 social media posts to use each week using the Bible story and Bible verse. These can be found here: https://biblestudiesforlife.com/leader-extras-kids/ Then click on Extras and the social media posts for the week are under each session. I apologize that currently we do not have social media slides for Preschool. I am working with our marketing department to provide Preschool posts, and I will let you know when those are available. I am thankful you are enjoying our Bible Studies for Life resources.
