“Instead, give them room to grieve the loss of their dream or the loss of their baby. Learn to sit with someone in their grief and gently point their eyes to the Lord in the midst of their trial. One of the most comforting verses in the Bible is Revelation 21:4, where the Lord promises to wipe away every tear from our eyes.” “How You Can Care for the Childless” by Chelsea Patterson Sobolik can be read here: https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/how-you-can-care-for-the-childless/

No one likes to suffer. We certainly don’t seek out pain, but when we experience it, we usually cry out to God for relief. We may question God when relief doesn’t come when and how we want it to, but one thing we can’t do is accuse God of being indifferent to suffering.

Our Unit Verse this month should encourage us to walk by faith. We live in a world where it is hard to trust people. What a fantastic reminder that we worship a God far greater than man! As you memorize this with your child talk about ways you trust the Lord.
