Weekly Verse: Show love to one another. Romans 12:10
Materials: Teaching Picture 13, toy microphones
- Place the microphones near the Teaching Picture.
- As preschoolers show interest, pick up a microphone and use it to say the Weekly Verse.
- Offer the microphone to a preschooler. Talk about the Bible story as the children play. Point to the Teaching Picture and comment that Joseph showed love to his family.
3–Pre-K—Make a Bible Verse Banner

Weekly Verse: Show love to one another. Romans 12:10
Materials: long piece of art paper, markers, crayons, colorful circle stickers
- Tape the paper to the floor or to a wall at the children’s eye level. Print the Weekly Verse in the center of the paper. Arrange the materials nearby.
- Read the verse as children come to the center. Talk about the Bible story as children decorate the banner. Encourage them to draw pictures in the blank spaces with the markers or crayons. Suggest that they could use the circle stickers to outline the letters of the verse.
- Pray and ask God to help the children love others.
Kindergarten— Jump and Say the Verse

Weekly Verse: Show love to one another. Romans 12:10
Materials: construction paper, marker, tape, Giant Game Floormat (optional)
- Print each word of the Weekly Verse on a separate sheet of paper. Tape the papers to the floor using a hopscotch pattern or insert them into the pockets of the floor mat.
- Invite kindergartners to take turns hopping on the words of the verse as you say each word. Encourage them to say the words with you.
- Talk about parts of the Bible story while children wait for a turn. Say the Life Point. Pray, asking God to help kids show love to others.
