Kindergarten— Play a Choices Game
Bible Story: Adam and Eve’s Choice Genesis 2:4-24; 3
Life Point: God made man and woman.
Weekly Verse: I am wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14
Materials: Teaching Picture 13, masking tape
- Tape a line on the floor. Indicate that kids should stand on the line behind one another facing front.
- Show the teaching picture and tell the Bible story. Say that God made Adam and Eve: they were able to make choices, and they chose to disobey God; as a result, God made them leave the Garden of Eden. Remind the kids that God still loved Adam and Eve.
- Tell the kids that you will call out two choices, holding each hand up for each choice. The kids should step either to the left or the right of the line depending on which choice they make. Before making the next choice, they should step back to the center. Use choices such as chocolate or vanilla; soccer or swimming; hamburger or chicken nuggets; and a few other non-consequential choices.
- After each choice is made, lead the kids to say, “I am wonderfully made.”
