Unit 1, Session 1: Paul and Barnabas Were Missionaries
Paul and Barnabas faced many people who rejected the good news about Jesus. They also met many who believed in Jesus when they shared of Him. The church grew, and the gospel was shared so that people all over the world could be saved from their sin by trusting in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Unit 1, Session 2: Paul and Silas Praised God in Prison
When Paul preached the Gospel, he sometimes encountered people who were angry with him and put him in danger. Even when Paul faced dangerous situations, He worshiped God, just like Jesus did.
Unit 1, Session 3: Paul Preached in Athens
Paul taught the people in Athens about the one true God. He told them that Jesus died on the cross and is alive! People can know God because Jesus brings us into God’s family.
Unit 1, Session 4: Paul Worked with Priscilla and Aquila
Priscilla and Aquila loved God and worshiped Him together as a family. Because of Jesus, we, too, can worship God anywhere and everywhere—especially with our families.
Unit 1, Session 5: Paul Wrote to Timothy
Paul wrote letters to Timothy to remind him of important work. Paul told Timothy to keep on telling people about Jesus so they would trust in Him as their Lord and Savior.
Unit 2, Session 1: Abram Stopped a Quarrel
God had a very good plan for Abram and his family. The plan was also for all the people who would be part of Abram’s family. Many years later, a baby boy named Jesus was born into Abram’s family. Jesus was God’s plan to save people from sin and fix their relationship with God.
Unit 2, Session 2: Joseph Forgave His Brothers
God sent Joseph to Egypt. God was with Joseph, and Joseph had a big job and lots of power. God used Joseph’s power to help Joseph’s family and many others. Jesus had a lot of power in heaven, but He left heaven to come to earth. Jesus came to save people from sin.
Unit 2, Session 3: Hannah Cared for Samuel
God heard Hannah’s prayers and He hears ours too. Though God does not give us whatever we want, He will always say “yes” when we ask Him to save us. He sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins so that we can live forever with God.
Unit 2, Session 4: A Couple Helped Elisha
A wealthy couple saw that Elisha needed help to live and gave him exactly what he needed. We are like Elisha, and God saw that we needed help. We needed to be rescued from sin. He sent Jesus to rescue us from sin. We can show people God’s love by helping them.
Unit 3, Session 1: Jesus Taught About God’s Care
Jesus spent time teaching people about who God is. God is a loving God who cares deeply for His children. God calls us to trust in His Son, Jesus, who died to rescue us from sin and death, and to tell others this good news.
Unit 3, Session 2: Jesus Taught How to Pray
Jesus taught us to pray. Because of Jesus, we can pray to the Father and ask for what we need. We can trust that God is good and loving, and we can count on Him to do what is right.
Unit 3, Session 3: Jesus Taught How to Help Others
Jesus loved and helped His friends and taught them to love and help one another. Jesus loved and helped us by doing for us what we could never do. Jesus is our King who died on the cross to rescue us from our sin.
Unit 3, Session 4: Jesus Taught About a Loving Father
Jesus told a story about a son who was lost to his father. Jesus told this story to teach about how much God loves people. Jesus was sent by God to save people from their sins. Jesus showed how much God loves people.
Unit 3,Session 5: Jesus Told About a Kind Man
Jesus told stories about people who were looking for things that were lost. Jesus told these stories to teach about Himself. Jesus looks for people who are lost, people who do not know Him. Jesus gave His life to save people from sin.
