For many people, holy refers to something highly religious; it’s sacred and untouchable. However, holiness is first and foremost the chief attribute of God. It refers to something that is set apart from the rest, and God is certainly set apart from anything and everything else. How we understand holiness affects how we approach and relate to God.
It is time to memorize the Unit Verse for the month! As you learn it look for a way to reach out to others less fortunate than you. Maybe you can serve at a soup kitchen, or do a service work for an elderly neighbor that needs help. Find something you can do as a family.
“How do you read your Bible? What’s your general approach? Aside from setting aside a specific time, identifying a suitable place, and choosing a practical reading plan, how do you prepare your mind and heart for the joyful task and privilege of absorbing the word of God? Or, to put the question another way, who is your model for Bible reading? Do you read the Bible the way Jesus read His Bible?” Thabiti Anyabwile writes “Reading the Bible Like Jesus: Luke 24” here : https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/blogs/thabiti-anyabwile/reading-the-bible-like-jesus-luke-24/
