Most people do not enjoy pain, conflict, or rejection, but these things happen to all of us. Christians are not immune; in fact, living a life of obedience to Christ can result in just such rejection and suffering. Thankfully, we do not face suffering alone. Christ is with us, and our sure and certain hope in Him will sustain us.
