Parents, today your child learned that God created people to live in families. From the creation of man and woman, God’s perfect plan for people was put in place— marriage between a man and woman.

The English poet John Donne wrote “No man is an island,” referring to the interconnectedness of human beings. No one survives and thrives without assistance from others, not even in the church. No believer is fully equipped to stand alone. As we depend on God’s Spirit, His Spirit works through other believers to support us. And the Spirit works through us to help and support them.

Our Unit Verse this month should be simple to learn as a family. God created people in His image, and He gave them families. This week share stories of your grandparents with them.
