Parents, today your child learned that God created people to live in families. From the creation of man and woman, God’s perfect plan for people was put in place— marriage between a man and woman.
“A tragedy of many otherwise good, biblically-based modern parenting approaches is that they can communicate (however subtly), “Do this, and your kids will live.” Ironically, this approach keeps us from clinging to the one thing we most need desperately need as parents: hope in the grace of God!” Trevin Wax speaks with J.D. and Veronica Greear about “Jesus Centered Parenting in a Child Centered World” here: https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/blogs/trevin-wax/jesus-centered-parenting-in-a-child-centered-world/
The verse today reminds us of our Level of Biblical Learning from this week: “God created people in His image.” You can find our Daily Bible Reading for today on the One Conversation page.

The English poet John Donne wrote “No man is an island,” referring to the interconnectedness of human beings. No one survives and thrives without assistance from others, not even in the church. No believer is fully equipped to stand alone. As we depend on God’s Spirit, His Spirit works through other believers to support us. And the Spirit works through us to help and support them.
Our Unit Verse this month should be simple to learn as a family. God created people in His image, and He gave them families. This week share stories of your grandparents with them.
