Kindergarten— Play a Game
Bible Story: Jesus Healed a Woman Luke 13:10-17
Life Point: Jesus healed people.
Weekly Verse: Jesus healed many people. Luke 7:21
Materials: paper, permanent marker, large craft sticks (enough for each word and the reference of the Weekly Bible Verse)
- Print the Weekly Verse onto a sheet of paper. Print each word and the reference onto separate craft sticks. If you have a large group of kids, make more than one set. Color the back sides of each set with different colors.
- Tell the Bible story as kids before beginning the game. Read the verse that you wrote on the paper.
- Invite kids to play a game with the sticks. A kid can play alone, or two or more can play together. One child drops the sticks on a table or the floor. Any stick that lands with the word facing up, can be removed. Continue dropping the sticks until all the words are revealed. Challenge the kids to put the verse in order. Kids can refer to the printed verse.
- Thank God for sending Jesus who heals sick people.
