Life Point: At church, people learn about baptism.
Weekly Verse: Philip told the good news about Jesus. Acts 8:35
Materials: Teaching Picture 1; assorted nature items such as rocks, shells, twigs, flowers, leaves, toy lizards or insects, and so forth; poster board; marker; bag
- Collect at least two of each item that are different sizes. Trace the items onto the poster board. Display the Teaching Picture on the floor near the board. Place the items in the bag.
- Tell the Bible story. Point to the Teaching Picture and comment that Philip and the man were outside. Ask what kinds of things the men might have seen.
