Materials: wooden puzzle featuring Jesus
- Place the puzzles on a low table or on the floor.
- Talk about the Bible story as children work the puzzles.
- Say the Bible verse. Comment that people wrote about Jesus in the Bible.
3–Pre-K—Make a Bible Verse Banner

Materials: construction paper, labels printed with the Weekly Verse, simple colored stickers, markers
- Cut the construction paper into 6-by-9-inch pieces. Allow each child to choose a color for his banner.
- Give each child a verse sticker. Encourage him to decorate his banner with stickers and markers.
- Talk about the Bible story as children work. Say the Life Point. Read the Weekly Verse.
Kindergarten— Use Letter Stencils

Materials: Bible, Teaching Picture 7, letter stencils, colored pencils, paper
- Write the name Jesus on a sheet paper. Display the names and the teaching picture with the other materials.
- As kids come to the table, talk about the Bible story and point to the teaching picture. Indicate the name printed on the paper.
- Open the Bible and read the Weekly Verse, 2 Timothy 3:15. Pray, thanking God for the Bible that teaches about Jesus.
- Encourage kids to use the stencils to print Jesus’ name on a paper using the stencils. Encourage them to decorate the page using the colored pencils.
