Bible Story: Daniel

Materials: Bible, construction
paper, scissors, crayons, colorful shape stickers, address labels printed with
the Weekly Verse
- Cut from construction paper a door hanger for each child. Give each child a door hanger and a verse label to attach to her door hanger.
- Encourage boys and girls to decorate their door hangers with the markers and stickers.
- Tell the Bible story as preschoolers work. Comment that Daniel knew what was right because he learned from the Bible. Comment that boys and girls can learn from the Bible, too.
3–Pre-K—Decorate a Word
Bible Story: Ezekiel
Offered Hope Ezekiel 37
Life Point: The Bible teaches people.
Weekly Verse: I am your God. Ezekiel 37:27
Materials: Teaching Picture 11,
white construction paper, glue sticks, colored paper cut into small squares, marker
- Print BIBLE in large letters on several pieces of white construction paper.
- Read the word printed on the paper to kids. Ask them to tell you what they know about the Bible.
- Lead the children to glue the small squares on the letters of the word. They can glue other colored paper around the word as they choose.
- Show the Teaching Picture and talk about the Bible story. Comment that God told Ezekiel to trust Him.
- Pray and thank God for the Bible that teaches people what is right and what is wrong.
Kindergarten—Find a Hidden Message

Materials: Teaching Picture 11,
white paper, white crayons, thinned blue paint, paintbrushes, painting smocks
- Before the session print The Bible teaches people. on the paper with a white crayon. Print one for each child.
- Invite kids to put on a smock to paint. Tell them they can find a hidden message by painting over their papers with the blue paint. Read the message together when it is revealed.
- Show the Teaching Picture and tell the Bible story. Tell kids that Jonah had a message from God for the people of Nineveh.
- Allow kids to print their own messages to reveal, if they wish. Suggest they could print the Weekly Verse.
