Unit 1, Session 1: Samuel in the Tabernacle
Samuel told people what God is like. Jesus came to earth as a human. His life showed the world what God is like.
Unit 1, Session 2: The People Sang
God called his people to build a special altar where they could worship Him, Now, because of Jesus, God’s people don’t have to go anywhere specific to worship Him. We can worship Him anywhere!
Unit 1, Session 3: People Prayed for Peter
God heard the prayers of the people. He had a plan for Peter, and He helped him escape from prison. Peter knew he might die because he believed in Jesus, but he wanted to share the good news about Jesus no matter what.
Unit 1, Session 4: The Antioch Church Helped
Jesus showed us how we should love and serve other people. God called the Church to love and serve one another. When the Antioch Church helped, they were worshiping God through their love for the Church.
Unit 2, Session 1: Gideon Obeyed God
The people of Israel needed help. They asked God to help them. God used Gideon to help the people, and God fought for them. We need help too. We need God to save us from sin. We cannot save ourselves. God sent His Son, Jesus, to save us.

Isaac could have fought against the people who wronged him, but he chose to keep peace instead. Because of Jesus, believers can come together like one big, happy family.
Unit 2, Session 3: Mary Showed Love to Jesus
Despite what the people around her thought, Mary showed love for Jesus by giving a valuable possession. Not long after that, Jesus showed His love for us by giving the most valuable thing He could—His life.
Unit 2, Session 4: (B-PK) The Kind Man; (K) Jesus Answered the Ruler’s Question
(B-PK) Jesus told a story that surprised people. We are like the man on the side of the road, and God saw that we needed help. We needed to be rescued from sin. He sent Jesus to rescue us from sin. We can show people God’s love by helping them.
(K): The young ruler wanted Jesus to tell him that he was a good person who could get into heaven on his own. But that is not the case. Jesus wants us to love Him more than anything else in the world. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, we can choose to follow Jesus for the rest of our lives, loving Him more than any other earthly possession.
Unit 3, Session 1: God Created the World
The Bible says that Jesus is Lord over all of creation. Everything was created by Him and for Him. Jesus has always existed, even at the creation of the earth, plants, outer space, ocean, and everything else! He holds everything together. (Colossians 1:16-17)

Unit 3, Session 3: God Created People
God created people in His own image. Adam was like God in some ways, but he was not exactly like God. God sent His Son, Jesus, to show us exactly what God is like. (Colossians 1:15) Jesus is exactly like God because He is God. (Hebrews 1:3)
Unit 3, Session 4: God Planned for Families
From the beginning of time, God planned for families. He gave Adam and Eve to each other and told them that they should have children to fill the earth. Because of sin, families are not perfect. They sometimes hurt one another. That’s why God sent His Son, Jesus: to rescue people from sin and bring them back to God.
Unit 3, Session 5: Joseph Loved His Brothers
God sent Joseph to Egypt. God was with Joseph, and Joseph had a big job and lots of power. God used Joseph’s power to help Joseph’s family and many others. Jesus had a lot of power in heaven, but He left heaven to come to earth. Jesus came to save people from sin.
