- Tell the Bible story as children make their bird feeders. Comment that God sent a flood and cared for Noah and the animals; God did something no one else can do.

Life Point: God does things no one else can do.
Weekly Verse: God, You are great and no one is like You. 2 Samuel 7:22
Materials: Teaching Picture 5; rainbow colored small paper shapes and small pom-poms, paper plates; glue sticks; small bowls for each color
- Place each color of shape or pom-pom in separate bowls. Cut the paper plates in half. Display the Teaching Picture on the art table.
- When kids show interest in the activity, point to the Teaching Picture and tell the story. Ask kids to name what God put in the sky as a promise. (rainbow) Tell kids that God made the rainbow because He can do things no one else can do.
- Invite each child to take a paper plate half and glue the colored items around the outside curve to make a rainbow. Talk about the colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple). Help the kids think of other things God can do that no one else can do.
- If there is space, kids can print the Weekly Verse on the bottom part of the plate or on the back.
