1s & 2s— Roll a Ball
Bible Story: Jesus Is Alive! Matthew 28:1-10
Life Point: Jesus is alive.

Materials: Teaching Picture 7, ball
- Sit on the floor. Hold the ball and lay the Teaching Picture next to you.
- Offer to roll the ball to an interested preschooler. Guide her to say “Jesus is alive” as she rolls it back to you. As other children are added, encourage children to roll the ball to each other and say “Jesus is alive.”
- Show the Teaching Picture. Say that the women saw that Jesus is alive.
3–Pre-K— Talk on Phones

Materials: Teaching Picture 7, toy phones, old cell phones (remove batteries)
- Arrange the phones and the Teaching Picture on a table.
- Invite boys and girls to talk on the phones to each other or to talk to pretend friends. Suggest they could tell a friend about Jesus.
- Point to the Teaching Picture. Say: “Mary saw Jesus. God made Jesus alive again!”
- Guide children to say, “Jesus is alive!” to friends on the phones.
Kindergarten— Play Out the Bible Story

Weekly Verse: Jesus is alive. Matthew 28:7
Materials: Teaching Picture 7, wooden blocks, river rock (block-sized), peg-type clothespins, fine-point markers
- Prop the Teaching Picture next to the blocks and other items.
- Show the Teaching Picture to kids and briefly tell the Bible story. Point out the other materials. Tell kids they can use the clothespins and markers to make people figures. Then they can use the blocks and the rock to build the Bible story scene and dramatize the story using the clothespin people.
- Say: “God sent Jesus. Jesus died but God made Him alive again. Thank You, God.”
