Weekly Verse: God created man and woman. Genesis 1:27
Materials: Teaching Picture 7, masking tape

- Show the Teaching Picture and tell the Bible story. Say that God made Adam and Eve able to make choices, and they chose to disobey God; as a result, God made them leave the Garden of Eden.
- Tell the kids that you will call out two choices, holding each hand up for each choice. The kids should step either to the left or the right of the line depending on which choice they make. Before making the next choice, they should step back to the center. Use choices such as chocolate or vanilla; soccer or swimming; hamburger or chicken nuggets; and a few other non-consequential choices.
- Tell kids that choices have consequences. Some consequences are simple, such as not having one choice over the other. Other choices can have serious consequences, like Adam and Eve’s choice to disobey God.
