Bible Story: God Protected Three Men Daniel 3

Materials: 3 Bibles of different sizes, poster board, marker, large box, shredded paper
- Trace around each Bible onto poster board. Hide the Bibles in the box of shredded paper.
- Invite a preschooler to find the Bibles in the box. When a Bible is found, help him match it to its outline.
- Open a Bible to Daniel. Comment that the Bible tells about God; God took care of three men in a fire. Say the Weekly Verse: “God can help us.”
3–Pre-K—Paint with Red, Yellow, and Orange Paint

Materials: paper; paintbrushes; cups; painting smocks; red, yellow, and orange washable paint
- Direct kids to put on smocks before painting. Write the Weekly Verse at the top of a paper before you give one to each child.
- Read aloud the verse and say it with the kids. As the children paint, tell the Bible story. Say that the colors of paint remind you of fire; God protected three men from the fire.
- Remind the boys and girls that the three friends obeyed God, God was with them, and God helped them.

Materials: Teaching Picture 8, banner paper or poster board, markers, colored circle stickers
- Print the Weekly Verse in all capital letters on the banner paper or poster board.
- Kindergartners can decorate the verse by drawing with markers in the white spaces, or putting circle stickers over the letters.
- Read the verse with the children and talk about the Bible story. Tell the kids that God protected the three men, because God is with us and can help us.
- As kids decorate the poster, say the verse together.
