Unit 1, Session 1: Barnabas Helped
God had a plan for Paul and Barnabas to used their talents and abilities to share about Jesus. Many believed that they could be saved from their sin by trusting in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Unit 1, Session 2: Paul and Silas Praised God
Lydia, the jailer, and many others believed in Jesus and were saved from their sin. Paul and Silas told everyone the same thing: “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.”
Unit 1, Session 3: The Bereans Learned from Paul
The Bible is powerful. When the people in Berea read the Bible, they followed Jesus. We can learn more about Jesus and His love for us in the Bible, too!
Unit 1, Session 4: Paul Wrote to a Church
Paul heard about the arguments in the Corinthian church and wrote a letter to help them love each other. Christians can trust Jesus to help them know what to do and how to live when they read Scriptures and pray to Him.
Unit 2, Session 1: Abraham Listened to God
Abraham was obedient to God, and God used him to fulfill His plans. In a much bigger way, Jesus was obedient to God by dying on the cross. Because of Jesus, people can be part of God’s family.
Unit 2, Session 2: God Helped Isaac
God had a plan for Isaac. The plan was also for all the people who would be part of his Father’s family. Many years later, a baby boy named Jesus was born into the family. Jesus was God’s plan to save people from sin and fix their relationship with God.
Unit 2, Session 3: God Was with Jacob
God is everywhere at all times. He appeared to Jacob and then later, He sent His Son, Jesus to earth. God will be with us wherever we go, and we cannot go out of His presence or beyond His power and influence.
Unit 2, Session 4: Joseph Interpreted Pharaoh’s Dreams
God sent Joseph to Egypt. God was with Joseph, and Joseph had a big job and lots of power. God used Joseph’s power to help Joseph’s family and many others. Jesus had a lot of power in heaven, but He left heaven to come to earth. Jesus came to save people from sin.
Unit 2, Session 5: God Called Moses
God called Moses to rescue His people. Moses delivered God’s people from physical captivity; Jesus delivered God’s people from captivity to sin.
Unit 3, Session 1: Samuel Followed God’s Plan
David did not look like someone who could be king. Samuel trusted God to make David the king, and God gave David power. Jesus did not look like someone who could be a king either. But when Jesus died and came back to life, He showed His power to rescue people from sin.
Unit 3, Session 2: Jonathan Helped David
David and Jonathan were very good friends. Jesus calls us friends. (John 15:15) Jesus is a greater friend than anyone. He showed His love for us by giving up His life to rescue us from sin.
Unit 3, Session 3: (B-PK) David Built the Tent Church; (K) David Spared Saul
B-PK: God told the people of Israel to build a tabernacle. The tabernacle was like a big tent where God met with His people. As part of His plan to save people from sin, God sent Jesus to earth to “tabernacle,” or meet with us.
K: David refused to harm Saul. He chose to show Saul mercy. Jesus showed us mercy to us by giving Himself as a sacrifice for our sins.
Unit 3, Session 4: David was Kind to Mephibosheth
David remembered his friendship with Jonathan and was kind to Jonathan’s son. Jesus commanded believers to love one another. Because He has shown great love to us, we can show love to others.
