Bible Story: God Protected Moses Exodus 1:22–2:10; Numbers 26:59

Weekly Verse: God can do all things. Job 42:2
Materials: Teaching Picture 1, vinyl baby doll, blanket
- Wrap the doll in the blanket and lay it beside the teaching picture.
- Encourage a preschooler to hold the baby and rock it. Comment that she is caring for the baby.
- Point to the picture and talk about the Bible story. Tell the child that God can do anything. Say the Weekly Verse and repeat it with the child.
3–Pre-K—Wash a Baby Doll

Materials: Teaching Picture 1, vinyl doll, dishpan, water, washcloth, towel
- Put 1 inch of water in the dishpan. Place it on a low table or the floor with the towel and washcloth. Prop the teaching picture nearby.
- Invite a preschooler to wash the baby. Talk about how God kept Moses safe. Say that God can do anything.
- Point to the teaching picture and what the child sees in the picture. Say the Weekly Verse together.
Kindergarten—Paint with Watercolors

Materials: Teaching Picture 1, watercolor paints, paintbrushes, cups of water, paper, painting smocks
- Place the teaching picture in the center of the art table.
- Invite a kindergartner to put on a smock and use the paints to create a picture.
- As children paint, talk about the Bible story. Point to the picture of Moses in his basket. Comment that God can do anything and helps care for people. Say the Weekly Verse together.
