Use these statements to connect each session of Bible Studies for Life: Kids to Christ as you teach your children each week.
Unit 1, Session 1: Prophets Foretold the Messiah’s Birth
God’s plan to save people from sin and death was not a secret plan. God used the prophets to give hope to His people. The prophets said God would send a Messiah—born into the world as a baby—to live the perfect life people fail to live and die the guilty death we deserve.
Unit 1, Session 2: God Chose Mary and Joseph
The baby Jesus fulfilled Isaiah’s prophecy, as well as other Old Testament prophecies, about the coming Savior. Through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus fulfilled God’s plan of redemption that God planned before the world began.
Unit 1, Session 3: Jesus Was Born
The birth of Jesus was good news! Jesus was not an ordinary baby. He was God’s Son, sent to earth from heaven. Jesus came into the world to save people from their sins and to be their King.
Unit 1, Session 4: Wise Men Worshiped Jesus
The wise men came to worship Jesus as King. Jesus is the King who will rule forever, as God promised to King David in 2 Samuel 7. Jesus is the true King who is worthy of all our worship.
Unit 2, Session 1: Jesus Visited Martha and Mary
God wanted both Mary and Martha to sit and learn from Jesus. Wisdom comes from God. He made the world and knows how it works best. The Bible says that Jesus is the wisdom of God. Jesus makes us wise and holy. He frees us from sin. (1 Cor. 1:24,30)
Unit 2, Session 2: Jesus Taught About God’s Care
Jesus spent His earthly ministry teaching people about who God is. God is a loving God who cares deeply for His children. God calls us to trust in His Son, Jesus, who died to rescue us from sin and death, and to tell others this good news.
Unit 2, Session 3: Jesus Healed a Man Born Blind
The man born blind had never been able to see until Jesus entered into his life and healed his sight. All people have a sin problem that leads to death. We all need a Healer. When we trust Jesus as Lord and Savior, God forgives our sin and heals us.
Unit 2, Session 4: Jesus Told a Parable
The religious leaders complained that Jesus welcomed sinners. Jesus told these parables to teach about God’s forgiveness. God sent Jesus so sinners can be forgiven. As Savior, Jesus seeks sinners. He paid the ultimate price—His own life—to save people from sin.
Unit 2, Session 5: Jesus Washed the Disciples’ Feet
At the Passover, Jesus washed the disciples’ feet as a way to serve them. But only a few hours later, He would serve them in a much bigger way through death and resurrection. God forgives the sins of those who trust in His Son, Jesus.
Unit 3, Session 1: Hezekiah and the People Worshiped
Hezekiah led the people to return to worshiping the one, true God. The people gave sacrifices and thank offerings for God’s provision. Jesus, the Son of God, died on the cross and rose again to provide people a way to be saved from sin.
Unit 3, Session 2: Joash and the People Gave Offerings
Joash and the Israelite people showed love to God by giving offerings. Love is more than feelings or words—it is an action. Jesus showed God’s love for us when He died on the cross to rescue people from sin.
Unit 3, Session 3: Jesus Talked with the Teachers
Even as a child, Jesus wanted to do His Father’s plan. As Jesus grew up, He became strong and wise. God blessed Jesus as He got ready to follow His Father’s plan: to die on the cross and rescue people from sin.
Unit 3, Session 4: Jesus Cleansed the Temple
When Jesus cleared the dishonest people from the temple, He showed His commitment to honoring God. The temple was supposed to be a place where people could pray and worship God. Jesus was going to die on the cross to take away people’s sins so anyone who trusted in Him could come to God.

It looks a good study for kid!
