Sunday
Mary and Joseph both had visits from angels, messengers from God. The angels told them about the birth of the special baby, Jesus, who would be born from Mary. God planned for Jesus to be born to save us from sin.
Tuesday

Thursday
As you begin learning the Unit Verse for this month, compare the verse to 1:31. Point out that the angel was quoting Old Testament prophecy when he spoke to Joseph. Read Matthew 1:21 in several translations and choose your family’s favorite to memorize.
