Fall 2025 Preschool Christ Connection Statements

Use these statements to connect each session of Bible Studies for Life: Kids to Christ as you teach your children each week.

Unit 1, Session 1: God Protected Moses

God planned to send Jesus to earth as a baby.  God planned for Moses and Jesus to help people. (Babies–2s)

Many years later, God sent His Son, Jesus, to help people live the way God wants us to live by loving and following God and Jesus. (3s–Kindergarten)

Unit 1, Session 2: God Chose Moses

Jesus came to lead people to love and obey God. Jesus helped people, too. (Babies–2s)

Many years later, God sent His Son, Jesus. Jesus helps people know how to live and how to obey God. (3s–Kindergarten)

Unit 1, Session 3: God Provided for the People

Jesus taught people to not worry about their needs because God provides them. God sent Jesus to teach people that God supplies their needs. (Babies–2s)

The people complained to God about needing food. God heard them and provided water to drink and food to eat for the people the entire time they were in the wilderness. God gave specific instructions for how the people were to gather food. When the people followed God’s instructions, God took care of their physical needs. People’s greatest need is to love and follow God. God sent His Son, Jesus, to show people what God is like. When people follow God’s instructions they can love and follow Jesus and live with God forever. (3s–Kindergarten)

Unit 1, Session 4: God Gave the Ten Commandments

Jesus taught that the most important rule is to love God. (Babies–2s)

God gave special rules to Moses to give to the people. God loves us and just like He promised, God sent His Son, Jesus, to earth to show us what God is like and how to live. God wants us to obey the things Jesus told us to do. (3s–Kindergarten)

Unit 2, Session 1: God Told Jeremiah What to Write

Jesus told that the Scriptures were written about Him. (Babies–2s)

God chose Jeremiah to tell people what God said. God chose to send Jesus to tell people about God’s words. (3s–Pre-Kindergarten)

God had also planned all along for His Son, Jesus, to show God’s love for people by dying on the cross. Jesus forgives people from sin. (Kindergarten)

Unit 2, Session 2: Ezekiel Offered Hope (3s–Pre-K); Daniel Prayed (Babies–2s)

The Bible teaches that Jesus taught people to pray.  Jesus prayed often. (Babies–2s)

The Bible teaches that God’s greatest promise was to send His Son Jesus. (3s–Pre-Kindergarten)

God’s Word is true and filled with His promises. God always keeps His promises. God’s greatest promise was to send His Son, Jesus, to be teach the right way to live. (Kindergarten)

Unit 2, Session 3: Prophets Told About Jesus

The Bible teaches that men told about Jesus’ birth many years before He came. Jesus is God’s Son. We read in the Bible about men who wrote about a special baby to be born, Baby Jesus.  We read in the Bible about Jesus’ birth. (Babies–2s)

God’s plan to save people from sin and death was not a secret plan. God used the prophets to give hope to His people. They said God would send His Son. (3s–Pre-Kindergarten)

Unit 2, Session 4: Jesus Read the Scriptures

Hundreds of years before Jesus was born, the prophet Isaiah wrote about God’s plan to send a child to be born. He would bring good news. Jesus read Isaiah’s words and told everyone who was listening that He is the one talked about in the Scriptures. (3s–Pre-Kindergarten)

God provided a rescue for one righteous man—Noah. The rescue was extended to Noah’s family. God sent a flood to punish the world for sin, but God rescued Noah and his family. Later, God sent Jesus to earth save people. (3s–Kindergarten)

Unit 3, Session 2: Abraham and Sarah

God gave Abraham a baby. God sent Jesus to earth as a baby. God keeps His promises. He sent Jesus as a baby so He would grow and tell people about God. (Babies–2s)

God kept His promise to Abraham by giving him a son. God kept His promise to the world by giving us His Son. Jesus fulfilled God’s promise to Abraham, and He is the hope of the world. (3s–Kindergarten)

Unit 3, Session 3: God’s Promise to Jacob

God had a plan for Jacob. God had a plan to send His Son Jesus to earth. Jesus taught people that God was with them wherever they go. (Babies–2s)

God made a promise to Jacob and said He would not leave him until He had done what He promised. God also fulfilled the promise that He sent prophets to tell about—the promise to send His Son Jesus. (3s–Kindergarten)

Unit 3, Session 4: David Faced Goliath

Jesus was sent to earth just as God promised. Jesus helped people. (Babies–2s)

The Bible says that God loved the world so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to teach people about God, and to heal people. (3s– Kindergarten)

Unit 3, Session 5: Deborah Followed God’s Plan; God Provided the Savior

Jesus also listened to God and did what He said to do.  Jesus helped people know the right things to do.  (Babies –2s)

God used Deborah, Barak, and Jael to help the people of Israel win battles against Canaan. God also uses people to help us and teach us about Jesus. Jesus teaches people the right things to do. (3s–Pre-Kindergarten)

God planned all along that Jesus would die on the cross for our sin. Seven hundred years before Jesus was born, the prophet Isaiah wrote that this would happen! (Kindergarten)
